Meet Allyssa

Allyssa Casad, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Individual Therapy | Holistic & Culturally Responsive Care

Allyssa Casad is a Native-identified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in the Portland area, offering individual therapy with a focus on holistic healing and cultural connection. She brings years of experience working with Urban Native and BIPOC communities, providing care that honors identity, history, and lived experience.

Allyssa’s therapeutic approach is integrative, client-centered, and deeply rooted in the belief that each person holds the wisdom and strength to guide their own healing. She combines evidence-based modalities—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and trauma-informed practices—with a holistic lens that acknowledges the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Her work is guided by attachment theory and relational frameworks, allowing her to support clients in exploring core relationships, building self-compassion, and developing healthier ways of connecting with themselves and others. Sessions are collaborative, empowering, and grounded in authenticity, respect, and cultural humility.

Allyssa offers individual therapy to adults navigating a range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, identity exploration, intergenerational trauma, and life transitions. She is especially passionate about creating safe spaces for Native and BIPOC clients to reclaim their voice and reconnect with resilience.

Whether you’re seeking to heal, grow, or simply be heard, Allyssa is honored to walk with you on your journey toward greater well-being.
